We start this business with purpose to help people who not really familiar on the jailbreak process or the one who doesnt want to bother check blog, forum and etc in order to jailbreak or unlock their iDevice, at that time (we start our biz since 2009) unlock and jailbreak tools available and able to jailbreak and unlock any iphone in any firmware.
The time goes by and the unlock become more complicated and not applicable to new firmware or iPhone, meanwhile our website name (iphoneunlockservice) stand out for it.
It's give us a moral hazard situation when all our competitor still claim that they able to unlock any device at any firmware, since we know that doesnt true. You only able to unlock your device at latest firmware if you already preserve your baseband since iOS 4.2.1, if you can do that (because you have to jailbreak it since 4.2.1) you dont have to use our service or guide since it means you already expert on that field. They doesnt lie, but they do not tell the truth about how to achieve it.
Then we decide to change all our advertising material and content to only support jailbreak, We believe and supporting jailbreak cause on break the monopolistic on our own device, the jailbreak facilitate it by allow user or programmer to sell their apps, tweak, theme on cydia store without apple store approval.
But the reason for jailbreaker already swift since the beginning we open our business, at first people want to customize their device by using apps or tweak that not available at apple store but now majority use it as a tool to install pirated apps from legal apple store apps.
We do not support piracy since it will suffer apps maker/programmer, and since majority of jailbreaker today most likely want to use it to install pirated apps. We decide that we do not want to involve or facilitate others to able to use pirated apps, thats our main reason to close our member registration.
We still update our member area and support for our current member, so if you are our current member do not afraid about this situation because we still here to support you.
